About

I am a radiation oncologist in Reno, NV, the “Biggest Little City in the World”. It is an inbetween sort of place, serving both mountain and desert communities, a university and casinos, long-time families and transplanted retirees. Prior to joining this community, I received my MD/PhD in biomedical engineering at UC Irvine, did residency training at Washington University in St Louis, and stayed on as an assistant professor specializing in gynecologic and neck cancers.

While there are many excellent resources online for health professionals and patients, it can be overwhelming. This site aims to be a go-between source of information about cancer care for our local patients. I hope there will be something for people completely new to medicine, as well as relevant updates on the latest developments in cancer care.

Fiat Lux,

Dr. Alexander Lin,

Curator of Reno Cancer Center
